Geneva’s Carrie Seida named Marklund chief development officer

Geneva resident Carrie Seida was recently appointed Marklund’s chief development officer.

Seida joined the Marklund Development team in 2022, as director of corporate and foundation relations. She was promoted in July of 2025 to director of development, where she led the day-to-day fundraising operations.

A Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), Seida earned a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Illinois University, and a Masters in Public Administration from Western Illinois University.
