Palatine hosting shredding event July 18

The village of Palatine, Palatine Park District, Palatine High School and Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County will host a document destruction event Saturday, July 18.

The event is scheduled for 9 a.m. to noon at the high school, 1111 N. Rohlwing Road. Participants should enter at the North Rohlwing Road/East Cunningham Road entrance and follow the event signs.

Paper documents will be securely shredded on-site.

The event is open only to residents of Palatine and other SWANCC communities. A photo ID will be checked for residency verification. Materials from businesses, schools, institutions and non-SWANCC residents will not be accepted.
