It’s time for women to assert their rights

Brave women fought for equality and have shaped history since 1776. It is our turn. We have lived through advancement for women with the right to vote and ownership of property, but history is reversing. There is discrimination in the military, women pastors have been asked to step down in southern states and recent election voting discrimination.

Any candidate should have won the presidency, hands down, against a felon with many business failures, as well as multiple personal flaws. Both women lost.

Everyone should have a choice to fulfill their dreams. It should not be mandated by laws and rules. It should be the same as a man, by choice, ability, determination and innovative spirit, not our anatomy. With a team effort, we can be the strength of our country. It’s our call to make our country better. Let’s be role models to the younger generation and vote.
