Kick up your heels at Country Western Yoga in Des Plaines

Trade your work week stress for western charm at Country Western Yoga, a unique evening of fitness, food and fun from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, July 17, at the Shoreline Banquet Room in the Lakeview Center, 1177 Howard Ave., Des Plaines. Participants are invited to dust off their boots and enjoy a country-western themed yoga experience led by instructor Maureen Orrin. The event includes a 45-minute yoga session, one complimentary alcoholic or nonalcoholic beverage, and pizza. Additional beverages will be available for purchase from the banquet room bar.

The evening begins with doors opening at 6 p.m., providing guests time to socialize and enjoy a drink before the yoga session starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $30 per person. In-person registration is required. Participants are encouraged to bring their own yoga mats, although a limited number of mats will be available for use.
