Lombard’s Music on Maple Series continues July 10
The Lombard Historical Society continues its 2026 Music on Maple Street concert series, featuring three free outdoor concerts behind the Bill Mueller Memorial Gazebo, 23 W. Maple. The series opened on June 12 with Great Lakes balladeer Lee Murdock.
On Friday, July 10, Dave Hiltebrand will bring his expressive acoustic guitar style to Maple Street. A professional musician, composer, studio musician, and educator, Hiltebrand’s music draws from jazz, pop, cinematic soundscapes, and soulful guitar traditions.
The series concludes on Aug. 14 with Dawn Xiana Moon, a Chicago-based singer-songwriter whose music blends folk, pop, jazz, and traditional Chinese influences. Singing in English, French, and Mandarin, Moon creates music that bridges Eastern and Western traditions.
The concerts begin at 7 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring a blanket or chair, pack a picnic and drinks, or stop by Dairy Queen for a sweet treat before the show. The concerts are free to attend, but registration is appreciated.
The Music on Maple Street concert series is made possible with support from the Illinois Arts Council Agency and the Rotary Club of Lombard. For more information or registration, visit lombardhistory.org.
