Geneva’s Classic Cars Under the Stars returns on Thursdays

Geneva’s Classic Cars Under the Stars returns from 5 to 8 p.m. every Thursday from July 9 to Aug. 27 behind the historic Kane County Courthouse on Third Street.

The show will feature classic, muscle, and rare cars, as well as motorcycles and trucks. An award will be given to the best of show.

Food will be available as spectators browse the vehicles and listen to free live entertainment.

The entertainment schedule will be: The Fishin’ Buddies on July 9; North of Center on July 16; KC Cool Gear (DJ) on July 23; The MacCartyns (Studebaker Night) on July 30; KC Cool Gear (DJ) on Aug. 6; The Shoop Dogs on Aug. 13; Geneva Jazz Ensemble on Aug. 20; and The Fishin’ Buddies on Aug. 27.

Stroll through rows of beautiful classic cars, enjoy live music, food, family fun, and spend the evening exploring the downtown shops.

Interested in bringing your vehicle? Just show up after 4:30 p.m. and find a spot in the parking lot behind the courthouse. Exhibiting cars cannot arrive before 4 p.m. If you arrive earlier, you will be asked to come back at 4 p.m.

The chamber will decide by 3 p.m. on the day of the show to cancel the car show in the case of questionable weather conditions. Check facebook.com/GenevaILChamber/ or genevachamber.com.
