Damage from early morning house fire in Hampshire estimated at $100,000

No injuries were reported in an early morning house fire in Hampshire that caused an estimated $100,000 in damage.

Firefighters were called to the single-family, ranch-style house on the 19N000 block of Felsmith Road at about 6 a.m.

Smoke was showing from the roof upon arrival and firefighters began attacking the fire from outside.

Several rooms and the attic sustained smoke and water damage, fire officials said.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
