Geneva closing part of parking deck for maintenance

The Third Street Commuter Parking Deck in downtown Geneva will be partially closed for maintenance for three weeks beginning Monday.
The deck’s second and third floors will be shut down while construction crews replace expansion joints throughout the structure.
The floors will also be sealed to help prevent moisture and road salt from reaching the steel reinforcement bars.
The deck’s upper levels will be closed through July 24.
Once the first-floor parking is filled, motorists can use the Route 31 overflow parking lot southeast of the train bridge.
The deck was built in 2007. The third level was added in 2015.
