Richardson to distribute temperature kit

GENEVA - Richardson RFPD, an Arrow Electronics company, said it has entered into an agreement to globally distribute Aridea Solutions' portable, no-touch, fever-screening device.

Aridea's Fever Kit uses infrared technology to take three separate temperature measurements and then compares those measurements to a passing criterion, providing a result. An individual simply places his or her forehead 5 inches from the sensor.

Aridea Solutions is based in Charleston, West Virginia.
