The so-called peace deal

What did President Donald Trump sign? In short, it is predominantly an agreement to negotiate., unlike President Obama’s agreement which aimed for a comprehensive and verifiable approach to limit Iran’s nuclear capabilities (160+ pages). President Obama did not give Iran money, but he did release Iranian assets that were frozen, plus the interest it had gained. Obama’s agreement did not contain a cease-fire because we were not at war. President Donald Trump’s agreement is more of a preliminary framework that lacks the same level of detail and oversight and contains a 60-day negotiation period. Trump’s agreement does not contain a reinstatement of inspection processes.
