No charges in accidental death of Campton Hills woman last month
No criminal charges will be filed in the death of 44-year-old Campton Hills resident Nena Peduzzi last month.
Kane County State’s Attorney Jamie Mosser said an investigation concluded Peduzzi’s death was an accident when she was struck by a vehicle in the driveway of her home on the 4N600 block of Brookside West Drive May 8.
Mosser said the investigation determined there was no negligence on the part of the driver.
Police were called to the home for a disturbance at about 10:45 p.m. and found Peduzzi unresponsive on the ground. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
