Des Plaines Alderman Thomas Merlin to meet with 5th Ward residents

Des Plaines Alderman Thomas Merlin of the 5th Ward and other city leaders will meet with residents June 29.

The gathering is set for 7 p.m. in the Shoreline Room at Lake Park, 1177 Howard Ave. The space is beneath the Foxtail on the Lake restaurant.

Merlin plans to discuss upcoming city events, traffic and parking concerns, public improvements and other issues.

City Manager Dorothy Wisniewski, Police Chief David Anderson, Fire Chief Matt Matz and other city officials are set to attend.
