Comments sought on Kane County judicial vacancy applicants

Public comment is sought regarding six people being considered for appointment to a resident circuit judge vacancy in the 4th subcircuit in the 16th Judicial Circuit in Kane County.

The vacancy is the result of Susan Clancy Boles retiring on July 31. Applicants include Associate Judge Marina Lark Cowart; Kane County assistant state’s attorney Robert Dore; Associate Judge David Kliment; lawyer Christopher Solfa; assistant state attorney general Andrew Whitield; and lawyer Andrea Zenker.

Members of the public are invited to submit written comments concerning the applicants to Stacie Ryan at sryan@illinoiscourts.gov. They are due June 30.
