Fabbrini Park in Hoffman Estates to be closed July 13-17

Fabbrini Park at 1704 Glen Lake Road will be temporarily closed from Monday, July 13, through Friday, July 17, the Hoffman Estates Park District has announced.

The closure is necessary for a series of improvements including the repairing, color-coating and striping of the tennis and pickleball courts, the outdoor basketball court, and adding a new asphalt overlay to the walking and biking paths.

Staff also will install a permanent outfield home run fence on the south ball field to match the other two fields.

The project timeline and specific closure dates are subject to change based on weather conditions. Visitors are asked to respect all posted signage and barricades by completely refraining from entering the park grounds, parking lots, paths or sports fields.

Updates regarding the project schedule and potential weather delays will be posted to heparks.org, and the park district’s social media channels.
