Lake County Housing Authority to host resource fair

GRAYSLAKE - The Lake County Housing Authority will host a Landlord Resource Fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 16, at its offices, 33928 N. Route 45, Grayslake.

Landlords and property managers can get information on a variety of topics, including the Housing Choice Voucher program, which provides rent assistance for low- and moderate-income people in privately owned rental apartments, townhouses or single-family homes.

Participating agencies are Prairie State Legal Services, the ComEd Multifamily Energy Savings Program, LIHEAP weatherization program and the housing authority's Tax Abatement, Housing Counseling and HCV programs.
