Enjoy music, food trucks and drinks at Summer Break at the Lake

The Glen Ellyn Park District invites the community to celebrate summer at Summer Break at the Lake, an evening of live music, food, drinks, and lakeside fun at Lake Ellyn Park, 645 Lenox Road in Glen Ellyn.

This all-ages event takes place on Friday, June 26, with gates opening at 4:30 p.m. Guests can enjoy live entertainment featuring InFunktious from 5:45 to 7:15 p.m., followed by Rock the Ivory from 7:45 to 9:45 p.m.

Throughout the evening, attendees can enjoy beverages available for purchase from The Beer Cellar and Common Good Cocktail House.

A variety of food trucks will also be on-site serving food available for purchase, including Heavenly Hot Dogs, Sunset Slush, Toasty Cheese, Cousins Maine Lobster, EJ Pierogi, and Del Corazon.

Guests are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair and relax by the lake while enjoying great music, local flavors, and the company of family and friends.

Register online by Thursday, June 25, to take advantage of early bird pricing at gepark.org/register.

Advance admission is $10 for ages 21 or older and $5 for ages 3 to 20. Admission prices increase by $5 on the day of the event, when tickets will be available for purchase with cash or credit card.
