Chicago Snowballs with trick plays and dancing umpires comes to Geneva June 6
The Chicago Snowballs are bringing their viral brand of “sportstainment baseball” to Northwestern Medicine Stadium in Geneva for a family entertainment showdown against the Rocket Squirrels on June 6.
Blending baseball, comedy, music, dancing, and crowd interaction, the Chicago Snowballs have quickly become one of the Midwest’s most talked-about live family entertainment experiences — often described as a “Savannah Bananas-style baseball show” packed with nonstop action and surprises.
Fans attending the game can expect: trick plays and back flips; dancing umpires and choreographed routines; interactive games with fans; music and live entertainment throughout the game; and on-field comedy and surprises.

This isn’t traditional baseball — it’s a live sports entertainment experience designed to keep fans laughing, cheering, and engaged from first pitch to final out.
“We don’t just play baseball — we put on a show,” said founder Cherie Travis. “This is the ultimate family-friendly entertainment — kids love it and go wild meeting their favorite players. And we’re proud to be a co-ed team where kids can see both male and female athletes performing, competing, and entertaining together.”
The gates open at 5 p.m. with the first pitch at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $32 or $17 for age 12 or under.
