Supposed Agent Orange help flawed

The Daily Herald actually gave that much print space to Cristobal Cavazos?

He signed his student loans, one after the other. Studied abroad?

He had it so bad. What about our parents and grandparents who went through the Great Depression immediately followed by World War II?

How about those of us who went through the Vietnam times, the jobs recession of 1972-75? Also, all those vets from the Persian Gulf wars and the Afghanistan War. Remember the crazy high interest rates of the Carter years.

Tryout the mantra of "The harder you work, the luckier you get."

Try working full time while going to junior college four days a week, 4 hours each night to learn a new trade ... all the while being married with a toddling daughter - never taking government food stamps or relief checks while paying all bills responsibly on time.

I could go on and on ... also knowing many, many others who did it the hard way without complaint. Thankful to live in the great USA.
