The 51st state fixation

It seems that President Trump is fixated with adding a 51st state to our country. It seems like every other week he mentions a new entry into the race.

As this is the horse racing Triple Crown season, it is only fitting that we should call these nations to the post for the initial 51st State Race. A race in Chicago without the legendary Phil Georgeff calling it, is like a day without a mention of the Bears stadium issue. So, on to the call of the nations to the post: And they’re off and pacing!

Canada breaks fast from the gate and takes the early lead followed closely by Greenland and Panama Canal Zone with Cuba and Venezuela far behind. Coming around the backstretch, Greenland overtakes Canada with PCZ following far behind. Here they come spinning out of the turn with Cuba and Venezuela going two and three wide with speed chasing down the leaders. It’s Cuba and Venezuela nose to nose with Greenland third and Canada fourth. PCZ is nowhere to be found. Wait, an unidentified nation is gaining quickly. It is a photo finish, but the film has yet to be developed, as Congress has not authorized the money to develop it. Please hold all tickets.
