Aurora man charged with possessing child sex abuse materials
A 32-year-old Aurora man has been charged with three felony counts of possessing child sexual abuse materials, authorities said.
Acting on an online tip, Illinois State Police special agents identified Andrew Dunlop III as a suspect and executed a search warrant on his home in the 2000 block of Waters Edge Circle on May 7, according to a news release.
The DuPage County state’s attorney’s office approved the three counts of unlawful possession of child sexual abuse material, and Dunlop was arrested on Thursday.
He’s currently being held at the DuPage County jail pending his first court appearance.
