Cycle into summer during STC Live! on June 3 in St. Charles

On Wednesday, June 3, the St. Charles Business Alliance invites attendees to celebrate biking and walking in St. Charles at STC Live! on the 1st Street Plaza from 6 to 7:30 p.m. for the Cycle into Summer event.

STC Live!, presented by McNally’s Heating & Cooling, takes place on Wednesday and Friday evenings at the 1st Street Plaza and at various local businesses throughout the summer.

Starting at 6 p.m., visitors will have the chance to enjoy a live music performance by Leslie Hunt, owner of Hunt House Creative Arts Center in downtown St. Charles and one of the top 10 females on season 6 of “American Idol.”

Along with the musical entertainment, various community groups will be on-site providing information, resources, and giveaways, while supplies last, on how to make the most of biking in St. Charles. The community groups that will be on-site are the city of St. Charles, St. Charles D303, St. Charles Library, St. Charles Park District, and the St. Charles Police Department. Sammy’s Bikes will also be on the 1st Street Plaza providing complimentary adjustments for bicycles.

St. Charles Business Alliance Executive Director Jenna Sawicki encourages everyone to visit 1st Street Plaza during the STC Live! Cycle into Summer event.

“We can’t think of a better way to kick off the STC Live! season than by joining us on the beautiful 1st Street Plaza to hear a live performance by Leslie Hunt,” said Sawicki. “With bike-themed giveaways, resources, and participation from some incredible St. Charles organizations, it’s a great chance to celebrate the many cycling and walking opportunities that St. Charles has to offer.”
