Memorial appreciated

I would like to thank Rick Ellis and his staff at Bluff City Cemetery for once again providing us with the very touching Avenue of Flags. One can only imagine the hours of work involved in the assembling and then the takedown following the Memorial Day Holiday.

I only wish those employees could have seen the number of cars parked throughout the flag lined streets during the day. Some people taking photos of an entire row of flags, some taking close-ups of a certain flag, some, like me, touching a special flag and thinking of memories from long ago.

Thank you again for providing this opportunity to honor our Veterans, both young and old.
