Stars & Parks Adventure combines local and U.S. history in Libertyville parks starting June 1

Libertyville Recreation is launching the Stars and Parks Adventure, combining local and U.S. history in an interactive community adventure June 1 through July 31.

Participants can find 16 local stars in 16 parks, including 15 playgrounds. Pick up a code sheet at the Libertyville recreation office, 870 County Club Drive, or Cook Park library, 413 N. Milwaukee Ave., or Aspen Drive library, 701 Aspen Drive, Vernon Hills, and use the map to visit 16 stations, discover historical facts and collect pieces of the secret code.
