AAUW Elmhurst Branch seeks donations for annual used book sale June 25-28

It’s time to gather your gently used books, audio and visual materials, puzzles, and games to donate to the American Association of University Women Elmhurst Area Branch’s annual Used Book Sale that will be held June 25-28 at Jackson Elementary School, 925 Swain Ave., Elmhurst.

Collection barrels for donating books, CDs, LPs, and DVDs will be available beginning June 15 at Jackson Elementary School; Elmhurst Public Library, 125 S. Prospect; and the Elmhurst Park District’s Courts Plus, 186 S. West Ave., Elmhurst. Donations will be accepted until June 23.

The AAUW is happy to accept fiction, non-fiction, young adults, children’s, and “better books” including first editions, and books signed by the author.

The AAUW Elmhurst Area Branch is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization. Proceeds from the sale of books are used to benefit local scholarships and national AAUW research and programs for women and girls.
