Route 25 crash leaves vehicle overturned, three Injured
Three people were taken to the hospital Wednesday morning after a two-vehicle crash near Bartlett.
South Elgin and Countryside Fire Protection District officials said crews responded at approximately 9:35 a.m. to a crash along Route 25, north of the intersection of Dunham Road and Route 25. When they arrived, they found two vehicles with heavy damage. One of the vehicles was on its roof.
Bystanders were doing CPR on one person on the side of the road, according to authorities. Fire crews began care on three patients at the scene before taking them to the hospital.
The Bartlett Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash.
