Street closures planned along Quentin Road in Palatine

As part of Palatine’s 2026 Water Main Replacement Project, partial and full road closures at the side streets along Quentin Road will begin this week to accommodate the jacking pits for the new water main.

The following streets will be reduced to one lane at the intersection with Quentin Road, with the dates weather dependent: Partridge Drive, from Monday, May 18, through approximately Friday, May 22; Sandpiper Court, from Tuesday, May 19, through approximately Wednesday, May 27; and Lukas Avenue, from approximately Wednesday, May 27, through Tuesday, June 2.

Peregrine Drive will tentatively be fully closed to all traffic at the intersection with Quentin from Tuesday, May 26, through Friday, May 29. Work on Peregrine Drive will begin after Partridge Drive and Sandpiper Court are complete. No detour route will be posted.

The northbound right lane of Quentin Road from north of Medford Drive to south of Euclid Avenue will remain closed until July, when work is anticipated to be complete.
