Hanover Park police block roads near Community Park for ongoing investigation

Hanover Park police have cordoned off an area near Community Park for what they are calling “an isolated incident.”

The department is urging motorists to avoid the area around the park because of road closures. Officials said no car or foot traffic is being let through.

Police issued the notice just after 4 a.m. on their Facebook page.

There is no word yet on why the roads were closed or what type of investigation is underway in the area.
