Strip mall businesses looted Thursday

Seven businesses in a strip mall in unincorporated Des Plaines were broken into overnight on Thursday, ABC-7 reported.
According to the Cook County Sheriff’s Office, police responded to the burglaries around 2:54 a.m. Thursday, ABC-7 reported.
The shops were in a strip mall located in the 9300 block of Ballard Road in Des Plaines, police said.
The ABC-7 report said four suspects smashed windows to break into the businesses. Investigators said the four people drove away in a silver Toyota.
