Public input sought on Gages Lake Road improvements
The Lake County Division of Transportation has started a study and is seeking public input to improve Gages Lake Road from Route 45 to Route 21.
The study will examine ways to improve safety and traffic operations and make it easier to walk and bike in the area. The study is in the early stages and will take a few years to complete.
Construction timing will depend on funding, land acquisition and overall project readiness. A virtual forum has been set up where ideas can be shared and questions asked through June 15. An interactive map can also be used to drop a pin and comment on a specific location. All feedback goes directly to the project team and will help shape future plans.
