Aurora church hosts memorial car show to honor late car enthusiast Sean Grief

St. George Byzantine Catholic Church in Aurora is hosting the second annual Sean Grief Memorial Car Show on Saturday, May 23, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church, 720 Rural St.

The show is open to the public with raffles, food, and beverages available. Cars may register for $10 from 8:30 a.m. to noon. Awards and trophies will be presented by 2 p.m.

Sean Grief (1977-2024) was an avid car enthusiast and member of St. George Church. He was instrumental in organizing St. George’s inaugural Car Show fundraiser in 2023. Since his death, Sean’s family has continued to organize this car show to honor Sean and the many ways he helped others, especially with their cars.
