Waukegan Concert Chorus presents ‘Happily Ever After: A Disney Celebration’

The Waukegan Concert Chorus presents “Happily Ever After: A Disney Celebration” from 4-5 p.m. on Saturday, May 9, at the Dr. Lynn Schornick Theatre in the Jack Benny Center for the Arts, at 39 Jack Benny Drive, Waukegan.

Established in 1976, the Waukegan Concert Chorus is led by Music Director Nathan Osborn. The Waukegan Concert Chorus is a sister organization to the Waukegan Symphony Orchestra.

The Waukegan Concert Chorus will sing the following songs:

• “When You Wish Upon A Star” arranged by Mark Hayes

• “Songs of a Disney Sidekick” arranged by Alan Billingsley. With soloist Marc Anthony.

• “Songs of a Disney Villain” arranged by Alan Billingsley. With soloists Jessica Hahn and Eli Hanley.

• “You’ll Be in My Heart” arranged by Kirby Shaw. Featuring Anna Zahn, Anne Lefler, Alice Alviani and Deanna Dietz.

• “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” arranged by Mark Brymer. With soloists Jessica Hahn, Jarom Dietz, Deanna Dietz, Lilly Dietz and Ella Dietz; featuring Jessica Babington-Brown, Anne Matteucci and Caitlynne Owens

• “The Place Where Lost Things Go” arranged by Mac Huff,

• “When She Loved Me” arranged by Philip Lawson,

• “Glow” arranged by Eric Whitacre,

• “Circle of Life” arranged by Roger Emerson. With soloists Bri Griebel, Anna Zahn, Sarah Graham, Lori Carpenter and Debbie Perez.

A ticket is required to attend the concert. General admission is $20, students and children 18 years and younger are free.

The concert is supported by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council Agency.
