Temporary closures ahead for Palatine’s Anderson Drive

As part of the Illinois Department of Transportation’s ongoing Illinois Route 53 Improvements, new bridge beams over Anderson Drive in Palatine will be erected next week.

From Monday, May 11 through Friday, May 15, Anderson under Rout 53 will be closed for 15-minute intervals intermittently throughout the week.

A detour route will be posted directing traffic to use Wilke Road/West Frontage Road, Rand Road, and Wilke Road/East Frontage Road.
