FBI investigating Naperville bank robbery

A Bank of America branch in Naperville was robbed on Friday morning.

The FBI confirmed that the robbery happened at 9:31 a.m. at the branch at 2775 75th St.

Nobody was hurt.

The FBI news release said the man showed a handgun and asked for money.

He is described as Black, having dark shoulder-length dreadlocks. His eyes are brown, he is about 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a slender build, authorities said.

The robber was wearing a dark puffy coat with a hood, dark-colored gloves, and a surgical mask. He carried a red folder and drove off in a silver Nissan sedan that was missing its right rear hubcap.

A Fifth Third bank branch on Ogden Avenue was robbed April 9. In that case, the FBI is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of two men.
