Community theater is great family fun

Our family, kids and grandkids went to Opera in Focus two weeks ago at the Rolling Meadpws Park District Playhouse on Central Road. Opera in Focus is stick puppets and music. That day, they were performing an Italian Opera and South Pacific, the musical.

It was fascinateing to see the puppets and hear the music. The kids loved it. After the show, they invite you backstage to see how they operate the puppets. The person who started the show worked on Home Alone, Ground Hog Day and Ordinary People. It was so fun, and it’s every Wednesday and Saturday.
