Softball: Rain gets the best of Glenbard South, Glenbard East
Glenbard South took a 3-0 lead in the first inning before rain washed out the rest of the Raiders’ Upstate Eight Conference game against visiting Glenbard East on Thursday.
Khloe Bauman had a bases-clearing, three-run double for the Raiders with two outs in the first just before the game was called.
In the top half of the first, Brooke Lange struck out the side and stranded runners in scoring position.
The game will be made up May 13.
