Bonfire and Brews returns May 2

From 6-10 p.m. on Saturday, May 2, Viking Park, at 4374 Old Grand Ave., Gurnee, will host Bonfire and Brews: Food Truck Frenzy. Due to the event’s continued success, the village of Gurnee, Gurnee Park District, and local vendors are thrilled to bring this popular spring evening for guests 21 and older back to the community. Admission is free.

Bonfire and Brews: Food Truck Frenzy will include a sizzling night of delicious food, refreshing brews and cozy vibes. As the sun sets and the stars appear, guests are welcome to unwind by the fire, savor the offerings from local food trucks, dance to live music from Dave & Taro, and, for added fun, compete in games with friends, such as ax throwing with Axe Legends.

Food will be available for purchase from the following food truck vendors:

• Genesis Tacos

• Kurbside Pizza

• Noonie’s Treatz N Things

• Supreme Fries

Drinks, such as beer, wine, and hard seltzers, will also be available for purchase courtesy of the Exchange Club of Gurnee.

Dogs are welcome as long as they’re well-behaved and kept on a leash at all times.
