Mundelein Parks Foundation Fires Up Meat Raffle Fundraiser for Recreation Scholarships

Just in time for grilling season, Mundelein Parks Foundation is firing up the fun with the Third Annual Meat Raffle Fundraiser on Sunday, April 26, to raise money for recreation scholarships. The event will take place from 1-4 p.m. at Crossroads Restaurant and Bar, 1021 Route 83, Mundelein. Visit crossroadsofivanhoe.com.

Guests can expect a spirited afternoon featuring live music by Five Rounds, a 50/50 raffle, and four bags of premium meats raffled off every 20 minutes. Attendees will also have the chance to win additional prizes, including golf rounds at eight local courses and Barefoot Bay admission.

“This event has quickly become a favorite tradition; bringing people together for a fun, high-energy afternoon while making a meaningful impact,” said Ron Salski, president of the Mundelein Parks Foundation. “We’re excited to build on that momentum this year, and every dollar raised helps ensure individuals and families in our community have access to the recreational opportunities they deserve.”

The Mundelein Parks Foundation extends heartfelt thanks to Kilcoy Global Foods and Prime Beef Ltd. for their generous meat donations, Crossroads Restaurant and Bar for hosting the event, and Five Rounds for providing the entertainment.
