Maple Glen memory care community collects donations to help feed neighbors in need
Throughout March, families and team members at Maple Glen memory care community collected 288 pounds of nonperishable food donations to benefit the Glen House Food Pantry in Glen Ellyn.
The pantry is dedicated to “making hunger history” for neighbors who live, work, or go to school in DuPage County. In 2025, the pantry provided groceries, including fresh produce, meat, dairy, baked goods and paper products, to approximately 9,500 individuals, 50% of whom were children.
Maple Glen was honored to partner with the Glen House Food Pantry for its spring donation drive. In addition to collecting donations, Maple Glen residents helped sort, bag, load, and deliver the items.
A specialized senior living community, Maple Glen is equipped to serve the specific needs of those experiencing Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and other forms of memory loss.
