The Arlington Heights Community Concert Band presents ‘A Concert For Viewers Like You’

Step into an afternoon of unforgettable music celebrating the television programs that have inspired generations. The Arlington Heights Community Concert Band will present “A Concert For Viewers Like You,” a special PBS-themed concert that will bring beloved television moments to life with a live band featuring music from iconic series, documentaries and cultural programs that have defined public broadcasting.

From sweeping historical dramas to uplifting educational favorites, the audience will experience the soundtracks that have accompanied some of the most powerful storytelling on television. This concert honors the spirit of PBS, Public Broadcasting Service, curiosity, creativity and community.

The Community Concert Band especially welcomes children to attend with their family, as there will be videos accompanying the music. Children and adults are invited to attend the “instrument petting zoo,” where attendees will get to see, touch and maybe even try out some of the many instruments.
