Elk Grove Village Mayor Craig B. Johnson to deliver State of the Village Address

Mayor Craig B. Johnson will deliver the village’s annual State of the Village Address on Thursday, April 9, highlighting continued economic momentum, major new business announcements, and a look ahead as Elk Grove Village celebrates its 70th Anniversary. The event will take place at the Elk Grove Chamber of Commerce luncheon, starting at 11:30 a.m., hosted at Belvedere Banquets, 1170 W. Devon Ave., Elk Grove Village.

The presentation will feature the first official announcement of two new businesses locating to Elk Grove Village, reinforcing the community’s position as a premier destination for commercial investment and job creation. Mayor Johnson will also highlight the Village’s leadership in data center development, continued infrastructure investments, and strategic initiatives that are advancing Elk Grove Village as one of the most competitive business locations in the region.

“As we celebrate 70 years of progress, Elk Grove Village continues to build on its strong foundation while positioning ourselves for the future,” Johnson said. “From attracting new businesses to leading innovation in data center development, we are proud of where we started, and even more excited about where we are headed.”

This year’s State of the Village Address will also showcase infrastructure and community improvements supporting long-term success and feature special elements celebrating the village’s 70th anniversary, reflecting on the community’s evolution from its early beginnings to today and outlining a vision for continued growth and opportunity.
