A.R.F. hosts spring garage sale to benefit local rescue animals

Animal lovers and bargain hunters are invited to the Animal Rescue Foundation’s Spring 2026 Garage Sale on May 1-2. Sale hours are 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday and Saturday at A.R.F., 531 W. Roosevelt Road in Wheaton.

This popular annual event is packed with amazing finds — from pet supplies and home goods to unique treasures — all at unbeatable prices.

Best of all, every purchase directly supports A.R.F.’s mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome homeless pets in the Chicago area.

As a no-kill, volunteer-driven, foster-based rescue, A.R.F. depends entirely on the support of the community to provide lifesaving care to animals in need.

How you can help:

• Shop the sale: Every item you purchase helps save lives.

• Spread the word: Invite friends and family, and share the event on social media or in your neighborhood.

• Volunteer: Help is needed with setup, organizing, and running the sale. It’s a great way to give back and support rescue animals.
