Officials: Two people hurt when car crashes into Egg Harbor in Oak Brook

Two people were injured after a car crashed into a restaurant in Oak Brook on Tuesday morning, officials said.

The car crashed into the Egg Harbor Cafe on the 2000 block of York Road around 10 a.m., according to a report from the Oak Brook Fire Department. Responding fire crews assessed four people at the scene and took two of them to the hospital with minor injuries.

There was no structural damage reported to the building, and emergency crews left the scene about an hour after arriving.
