Road repairs to close a portion of McLean Boulevard in Elgin Monday

McLean Boulevard just south of the Big Timber Road intersection in Elgin will be closed for repairs from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, March 30.

The city said there will be no access across the Metra tracks during this time. Traffic on Big Timber Drive north of the tracks will still have access from northbound McLean Boulevard.

Suggested detours include using Route 31 and Randall Road to avoid the intersection.
