ECC to host resource fair for older adults April 23

Elgin Community College will host a resource fair for community members ages 55 and older from 9 a.m. to noon on April 23 at the Building J Event Center at 1700 Spartan Drive.

The event will allow older adults to connect, network and discover resources for living well by bringing together a wide range of local businesses, organizations and service providers focused on supporting healthy, active and engaged lifestyles.

Guests will meet with local exhibitors and get health screenings, including blood pressure monitoring, stroke risk assessments and blood sugar testing.
