Historic Elgin Theatre Company seeks community support with pizza and trivia benefit
The Elgin Theatre Company is hosting a “Pizza, Trivia, and Raffle Night” fundraiser on Friday, April 3, at Danny’s Pizza in Elgin.
Help keep the curtain rising on the stage of the oldest community theater in the Northwest suburbs. The nonprofit organization, founded in 1952, operates on a shoestring budget (a very well-loved, slightly frayed shoestring) which relies entirely on ticket sales and donations to keep the lights on and the curtain going up.
For the past 74 seasons, they have been bringing high-quality live theater to the Elgin area at reasonable prices.
Bring the whole family to celebrate spring and join in this community event with all-you-can-eat pizza, challenging trivia, and raffle night from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at the restaurant, 231 Douglas Ave. in downtown Elgin.
Tickets are $30 per person; drinks not included. Tickets are available at the ETC website, elgin-theatre.org, or at the door.
If you or your business would like to sponsor this event, email tickets@inil.org or call (847) 741-0532.
Additionally, they have many different levels of sponsorships available for your organization to advertise in the program for the next production, “Fade” by Tanya Saracho. It will be presented for three weekends, April 17 through May 3, at the new Elgin Art Showcase location at 220 DuPage St. in Elgin.
