McHenry County judge sends Gurnee man to prison for cocaine possession

A Gurnee man has been sentenced to six years in prison after pleading guilty to possessing cocaine.

Marlon A. Rhodes, 46, is required to serve half his prison time followed by one year of mandatory supervised release, according to an order signed by Judge Mark Gerhardt in McHenry County court.

In exchange for Rhodes’ guilty plea last week, charges of possession with intent to deliver cocaine and fentanyl were dismissed, the order shows.
