Kane County Fair offers 4-H scholarships
The Kane County Fair board of directors in St. Charles is offering a maximum of 3 scholarships per year worth $5,000 each to current 4-H Club members who are high school seniors and planning on attending college.
“We are pleased to continue the tradition of awarding scholarships to worthy high school students within our 4-H community," said Larry Breon, chairman of the Kane County Fair board of directors, “and have now increased the scholarship amount to $5,000. It’s an honor for us to help three outstanding 4-H students who have set high goals for their future success and are very dedicated to giving back their time and talents to their communities."
Since the launching of its Kane County Fair 4-H scholarship program over 13 years ago, many Kane County area 4-H students have been awarded financial assistance to further their education.
