Clarifying the ICE mission, tactics

On Tuesday March 17, Mr. Valosek presented a few conclusions about ICE activity in Illinois: out of 4,000 arrests, 80 were convicted of violent felonies, keeping the state much safer. What he fails to address are the 3,920 arrests of those who were not violent convicted felons. Isn’t this what Blackstone argued against?

Yes, the counter argument is that those who are not felons are still illegal, but wasn’t ICE charged with getting rid of the worst of the worst?

The same opinion brought up the removal of drug dealers and gang members. If ICE really was pursuing gangs and dealers, wouldn’t you think they would go where gangs congregate rather than Home Depot and restaurants?
