Put politics aside

While no one can be sure that our military action in Iran will be successful and actually produce peace in the region, it was rather disappointing, but predictable, to listen to our Democratic senators and representatives condemn the action.

Congress does deserve a briefing and definitely needs to determine if further military action is necessary; however, it is irresponsible for any members to criticize this action until they have been briefed. This is simply another example of putting politics ahead of reason which is especially bad before all the facts are known.

Admittedly, this is a volatile and dangerous situation, but let's keep politics out of it and proceed with a reasoned debate and do whatever is in our best interest.
