A possible white elephant for the Bears

Reader Jackie Sickler of Aurora surely scored a bullseye by pointing out the refinery odors and heavy traffic difficulties on the I-80/94 corridor to Hammond.

I’ve often driven that corridor and it consistently is clogged with stop-and-go traffic. The ultra-frugal McCaskey Bears would do well to think twice about those problems for the Bears fans that would tolerate them.

What if the Bears became the owners of a very expensive white elephant with a dome on top?
